Who Are You Listening To?

Think about it! What voice are you listening to? Jesus said; his sheep would know his voice. We as His children have to, in these perilous times, be alert to what voice we listen to. The devil’s greatest weapon against us is the same as always; his lies! He is out to destroy every righteous man or woman of God. Pray against deception and seek truth. Mark 13:21-23 We have a warning here “if possible even the elect can be deceived” verse 23 But take heed; see, I have told you all things before hand. We have to know the times and seasons we are in and no matter how close you walk with Jesus don’t think your above deception. Pride comes before a fall. It looks as though the Lord is warning his people of more trouble this fall so that we can prepare in the natural things but not allow our hearts to be afraid. We must be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. Joseph stored ahead for the famine and Hezekiah had two years of supplies because he knew the Assyrians were coming. Read the story in Isaiah 36-37. There is much to learn in these two chapters. The point today is know what voice you are listening to and remember the enemy can’t speak truth so know truth by prayer and study of the Word of God. Many voices; but only one tells the pure truth without fear. Joshua 1:9 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid: do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Amen
