Walk In Pure Faith & Hope

Think about it! This is a time indeed that we need to walk it pure faith and hope. It has always been a habit of mine at times to read Heb. 11 our faith chapter. I am Looking at
Verse 13 this morning and thinking about it. These all DIED in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were ASSURED of them, EMBRACED them and CONFESSED that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. **What great believers they had become; they died in faith and this word assured stands out as a positive faith, that even though they didn’t get to see the promise fulfilled they knew it would happen. The word embrace here means to cherish and love these promises holding tight to them. Their confession to be strangers here on earth was another positive outlook, they knew they were citizens of a heavenly home, just passing through. We need to do the same and stand strong in our faith, all the things we have been through here are for an eternal purpose. Remain aware that this life only lasts a few years but you are headed to a home that will last for an eternity. Read the chapter and remember they overcame by their faith in Christ and His Word. We have to run this race with endurance looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, despising there shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God! Keep your faith and hope, our King and Lord is soon to return. Let no man take your crown! Think on these things. Amen
