Believe the Report of the Lord

Think about it! I was led to study I Peter again recently and the message written here is perfect for the season the church is in now. It is a letter of Hope to the people of God that were facing trials and persecution. Verse 3 -5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to the inheritance incorruptible and undefined and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. ** Well, that is a mouth full and will preach. Peter’s words here bring joy and hope to us as God’s children. He bases his confidence on what God has done for us in Christ Jesus. We are called into a living hope of eternal life! Hallelujah to the Lamb. Our hope is not only to the future; eternal life begins when we first except Christ Jesus and join his family. No matter what we experience here you can be sure it isn’t your last one; the best is yet to come. “The last time” he mentions is the day of judgment described in Romans 14:10. Look forward to the rewards and all that is waiting for you that eye hasn’t seen or ear heard. Believe the report of the Lord and keep your living Hope in Christ. Hold your head high you are a child of God!! Get your focus on Jesus and His Word.. May you, my family be blessed. Amen
