The Lord's Mercy

Think about it! So thankful for the Lord's mercy this morning. Ps.13:5 But I have trusted in your mercy; my heart rejoice in your salvation. **Remember what mercy is: favor and compassion when it isn’t deserved. David was praying for help so that his enemies would not overtake him. Think on these verses at this time and find comfort. Lam. 3:22-23 It is the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: Great is your faithfulness. Jl. 2:13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn to the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents him of evil. Mi. 7:18 Who is God like unto you that pardons iniquity, and passes by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He retains not his anger forever, because he delights in mercy. **Stop and lift your hands toward heaven and thank him for such great mercy that He shows to His people and such holy compassion. Mt. 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. This is a good report. Phil.4:8 Think on what is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of a good report, if there be any virtue, if there be any praise, think on these things. **Can’t find any of that on the media! Be careful and remember mercy with a grateful heart. Amen
