Think about it! Do not allow fear of the future take hold of you. Jesus tests our faith as His people in times of trouble. We must speak His Word constantly to the enemy of our lives. Remember His Word is a two edged sword! 2nd Peter:4 By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. There are over 4700 promises in the Word for God’s people. Let’s think about a couple of these precious promises today. He gave us these to stand on in the storm. What good is it if we profess them but don’t use them? **How can Jesus say NO to something He promised? He wants us comforted by them. We all know we are in troublesome times. **Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust him.
Jesus said, don’t let your heart be troubled: you believe God, believe also in me. Jn.14:1 ** Do we believe these words? Apostle Paul said, II Cor.4:8-9 We are troubled on every side, yet NOT distressed; we are perplexed, but NOT in despair; persecuted, but NOT forsaken; cast down, but NOT destroyed. “He wasn’t distressed or afraid.” Jesus said. He will never leave us or forsake us. I believe He draws closer to His children in troubled times. Stand on His promises. Keep peace and have a promise on your heart every day and speak it out loud; this will put the devil on the run. We can’t lose because our Lord already won on the cross then rose on the third day. Victory is ours!! Encourage each other with His promises don’t help fear to root in the family of God. If you speak of the trouble also speak of a promise.
