Boast In The Cross Of Christ

Think about it! There is so much to think about and pray about that if we are not careful we will become confused. Our God is not the author of confusion! I think if Apostle Paul was alive he would be preaching Jesus Christ and him crucified. Gal: 6:14 But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. ** Paul saw the world as a felon crucified on the cross. We must glory in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. We as faithful Christians must boast in nothing else. We can expect to be mid-treated by the world but loved by our Lord. Remember the cross was a stumbling block to the Jew and troublesome to the Greek, but to us it is the glory of God. Why, because of the love of Jesus who suffered there, his holiness of character and for his innocence died for the guilty, the pardon of the guilty, the reconciliation of sinful man to his Creator, and through his blood we'll gain entrance into His heaven. Paul would say to us in these perilous times to glory in such a risen Savior and the cross that brought atonement for all who would believe. Be sure the world is crucified in your heart! Wave the banner of the cross and shout victory in Jesus to a lost and dying world. **Long ago a Pastor was to be put to death for his faith and he said, I long for death, the reasoning he gave was; My love is crucified for me! We must remember the basic reasons we love Jesus and tell the world! Think about the good report! Boast in the cross!
