What Do You Hunger After?

Think about it! I have been thinking about the awesome blessing of having available the very wisdom of God. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and doesn’t hold back; and it SHALL be given him. **How hard do we seek this divine wisdom in our daily lives? I think few people consider His wisdom precious enough to make the all out effort that it takes to find this wisdom. Many give everything they have to search for treasures of this world but how many search the Word to find this hidden treasure of God wisdom? His wisdom teaches you the nature of your God. As you search you gain a new attitude of reverence for Him and a new view of life and a greater desire to obey Him. Are we satisfied with just enough knowledge to get us into heaven? Are you guided by man’s wisdom or Gods? Prov.2:7 He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous. His wisdom has no defects it is sound and never causes harm to the one who applies it to their lives. His wisdom guides, protects and preserves us; why would we not seek after this? He promised if we do He will not say no to giving it. Prov. 2:11 Discretion shall preserve you, understanding shall keep you. **Now who doesn’t need or want that? I believe as we walk in His wisdom our health will benefit, our emotions become more stable and we will be more sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Though the path of His wisdom is narrow it is rich and satisfying to our soul. I hope this has stirred a desire in all of us to hunger after Godly wisdom. You will find you are not as controlled by your own desires. May God bless you in your unlimited search for His divine wisdom. Think about it then do it. Amen
