Are You Hungry?

Think about it! I was reading the sermon on the mount in Matt.5 and what stood out to me as the most important verse was verse 6. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness; For they shall be filled. If we are not hungry and thirsty for His righteousness then we are not seeking Him and His Word. Are we pursuing Him to know Him not to get a blessing but to be filled with His presence. Isa.55:6-7 Seek the Lord while he might be found, Call upon Him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And he will have mercy on him; And to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. **We are living in a timeline of grace. We must seek him as never before. Souls are at stake, including yours and your family. In seeking him with a hunger and thirst the promise is that you will be filled. It isn’t a time to be filled with self or the world, Jesus desires to fill his people but if we don’t empty our self of self and the world we will never be satisfied with just Jesus alone. Seek Him as never before, press in until you get the blessing, just like Jacob. Are you hungry and thirsty for Jesus? Are you pursuing Him? Think about it! Go the extra mile to find him, but not to get something from him just to know him!
