Rejoice In Trials?

Think about it! I Peter 1:6-7 Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a season, IF NEED BE, you are in heaviness through manifold trials: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes though it be tried by fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. **There are many things to pay attention to in these verses. Peter was speaking to the church so notice he says they were greatly rejoicing! Yet then he tells us they were in all kinds of trials. Heaviness means here that they were in grief because of trouble. It seems contradictory but it is more of a paradox. Some doubt you are even saved when you go through grief or sadness. This should not be the judgment of others. Christians can rejoice greatly in their Lord yet experience heaviness in their life. Apostle Paul went through it - he despaired even of life. We must remember the purpose and that we are told it is needed in our life. Our faith is tested that it may become pure and full of complete trust. Faith is more precious to God than gold. Gold is temporary but faith is eternal. Many pray for God to increase their faith and seem to think He will just wave His hand and make it happen! It doesn’t happen like that, it comes by experience. Peter did encourage us by saying it is needful and it is just for a season. The body of Christ is being purified during 2020. He is getting those who will endure ready for a great outpouring of His Spirit and for the Rapture. Don’t give up your faith in this season but allow it to be purified and that full trust in our Lord to do what is needful for us. Continue to greatly rejoice in Christ even if you weep along the way; one day He will wipe away all our tears. In spite of it all; I know don’t you that we are in His hand. He will get us through and we won’t stop rejoicing in Him and such a great salvation!! I love my Jesus more every day. The Spirit and the Bride say, Come quickly Lord. Amen
