I Pray For Them

Think about it! I am certain that Jesus continues to pray for His church. Please read all of John 17. Such a wonderful chapter of Christ speaking to the Father. Verse 9- I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which you have given me; for they are yours. **It is wonderful for people to pray for each other in the Holy Spirit but remember; Jesus himself is your High Priest and is interceding on your behalf. I am certain He is and I rejoice that He cares about everything that concerns His people. How blessed we are that He knows our name. Verse 15- I pray not that you would take them out of the world, but that you would keep them from the evil. Verse 16 They are not of this world, even as I am not of the world. **Think on His words here. He is praying for us and reminding us we are not of this world; we belong to an invisible Kingdom. He is our divine keeper. II Tim. 1:12 For which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed, and am PERSUADED that he is able to keep that which I have committed to him against that day. ** Paul was in prison when he spoke this, we must get to this place of faith in Christ. We must be certain that he is praying for us, that he knows our name, that he loves us and that he will keep us in him no matter what happens here on earth as we continue to follow him closely determined never to bow our knee to another God. I Peter 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Verse 8 Whom having not seen, you love; in whom, though now you see him not, yet believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory; 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Meditate on him and His word; not the world. I am certain He cannot lie or change. Amen
