For the Joy Set Before Us

Think about it!  There are phases in spiritual life. For example, a 4 yr old and a mother coming out of the house. Child is leaping, running, skipping and the mother walking quietly.  We must remember the Christian life is a life of well doing.  It insults God to grumble about our doings.  When you’re weary, think about eternity.  Think on the harvest  of your labor.
Remember that most of Christ’s life here on Earth was humdrum and spent with people who misunderstood Him.  How did He do it without complaining? “For the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross, despising the same”
Col 1:24  Paul was willing to suffer for Christ.  He knew one day he would hear “Well done thou good and faithful servant, enter thou into the joy of Thy Lord”.
Have an attitude of Thanksgiving and of Praise! It will strengthen you not wear you down. “For in due season we shall reap if we faith not”  You serve a God that cannot fail. A spiritual harvest is coming.  John 4:35-36
