A Good Question

A Good Question

Think about it1  A good teacher provokes you to think.  Do you desire to be more devoted to Christ or are you content to be where you are in Him, yet want Him to be more devoted to you and give you more blessings?
Why wouldn’t God’s children desire to be more devoted to Him?  Would it be they are afraid not to be in control?
Does our environment exercise a powerful deluding influence?  Do we want to fit in with the people around us?  Fears block increase of devotion.
Example of a human who reached total devotion to Christ and shows us in the scripture how to attain it.  Paul said he was chiefest of sinners. Eph 4:1-3
Jesus gave Paul as an example of how he can give and has given a spirit of devotion to His church.  Self sacrifice, joy, and victory.  We must be willing to confess how much is lacking in our spiritual life.  We must confess how little we have sought, yielded, and received the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Are you ready to seek, yield, and receive what God has given?
Gal 4:6  Because you are sons God has sent the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying Abba Father.
