A Living Sacrifice

Think about it!     ITim 4:7  Rom 12:1
God’s people are no longer required to bring animals to the alter as an offering and sacrifice but are now required to bring themselves wholly to God as a living sacrifice. Their lives are no longer their own.
Eph. 5:2,10 Tell story of old saint who stood up at church and the sweet smell of Christ flowered.  Proving what is acceptable to God. I Peter 2:5
Sacrifice – to give up something we deem of great value for a cause, purpose, or ideal.
Spiritual sacrifices:
Spiritual men offering themselves.  Rom 12:1  Gal 6:1
Spiritual service.  I Cor 2:4
Songs.  Eph.  5:19  Col 3:16
Praises.  Heb 13:15-16
Conduct. Rom 8:1-13  Gal 5:16
Personal faith.  II Cor 4:15
Wisdom and knowledge.  Col 1:9
Personal love. Col 1:9
Faithfulness. Phil 1:27
Prayer and supplication. Eph 6:18  Heb 11:4,8
