No Instant Solutions

Think about it! Having hope in God has no instant
solutions. Ps. 33:18,20,22; 39:17 Rom 8 23-25
Hope – The virtue by which a
Christian looks with confidence for God’s Grace in this world and the world to
come.
Hebrew word Yachal – to be quiet;
means to wait with hope. To be patient, cause to have the ability to wait
on our expectations, be pained, stay, tarry, trust, wait.
Chaldee word Tiqvah (tik-vaw) – rood
word twisted together, like a cord; combination of hope and waiting for
what I long to see happen.
Ecc. 4:12 Threefold cord is not
easily broken. Hope – Trust – Wait
This combination together will stand
up against doubt, unbelief, and all hell when it comes to steal our hope in God
and what He has spoken to our hearts for a vision or our purpose in the Body of
Christ.
Ps. 78:7 Their hope is to be their fattest
part – fatness or fullness – richest.
Ps. 119:114 Example of hope
meaning trust.
Ps. 119:116 Hope means “Sabar” –
enormous, huge, scrutinize, watch, to expect with hope and patience.
Jesus tells us to always watch –
have hope, expect to see it come, right attitude.
Prv. 10:28 Hope for saints is
joy. Hope for wicked is deceit and destruction – a false hope. If
our hope is in anything but God and His Will, His way – it’s false hope.
Prv. 14:32 Righteous has hope
in his death (to boast, intently, rejoice)
Rom. 5:2-5 Hope meaning to be
quiet, content, stillness
I Peter 3:15 Called to testify
of our hope and a secure attitude does not waiver. If our hope is off
balance we open the door to depression, discouragement, discontentment.
This is why Satan works overtime to steal our hope!
This is the hope that got Job
through his trial. He trusted God and knew He would keep His Word if he
would only be still, stand, trust, have confidence, be secure, be quiet, and
have patience while waiting on God to defend him. Look at Job’s reward!
