Do You Trust Jesus?

Think About It!  Trust - to rely on, have confidence in the character of, ability of, strength of, and be able to be dependent upon who we put our trust in.

Prov 3:5  Trust in the Lord with all your heart; lean not unto your own understanding.  1 Tim 4:10  We both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, Who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.

Now lets think about Jesus as our teacher and ourselves as His students in "the school of Christ". In life's lessons He is preparing us for our many tests. If a student doesn't trust their teacher, they don't pay much attention to what the teacher says or does and they fail the tests.

When given lessons, do you take notes then go back and study? When the test comes, do you trust the teacher to have already shown you what would be in that test and that the teacher knows what you need to learn to become all that you can be?

Learning to trust Jesus with all our heart is a process. He knows the world teaches us to trust ourselves, others, or money - anything but Him. Go back and read these two verses and ask yourself - are you learning to trust your teacher? Are you a good student - paying attention to life's lessons? It's an assignment for us all. Think About It!
